Gary has 18 years of experience as a Building Surveyor in Western Australia. A registered Level 1 Building Surveyor, he has held senior and management positions in local government, and was a director of his own private certification company in the past six years.

His comprehensive understanding of building requirements and legislation has enabled him to assist a diverse range of clients with their building projects, providing them with advice and solutions to building related issues. He has consulted on multi-storey office-mixed use developments, residential developments, and industrial and commercial projects.

In addition, Gary has acted as an expert witness in building appeals at the State Administrative Tribunal. He has also served as a witness for local government at Magistrate Court hearings.

Gary’s qualifications include building surveying studies at TAFE and an Associate Degree in Building Surveying from Central Queensland University.

Gary has been a member of the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors since 2003, and he had previously served on the WA Chapter’s executive.
